Welcome to the Department of Nursing

The Department of Nursing is one of the most important ones, as its members are involved in the activities of all departments. The total staff strength is over 400, and many are involved in various depatments of the hospital. The School of Nursing, housed in the stately structure of the Nurse's Hostel since it's inception in 1986, mainly undertakes the education of nursing students and trained staff. It fosters a four and half years B.Sc Nursing Degree course with 50 students, a three years' Undergraduate Nursing Course to which 60 students (after H.S.C.) are admitted annually, 40 students are admitted annually for Mid wifery (MPHW) on an " Earn and Learn " basis.
