Invasive Cardiology - Cater to both adult and pediatric age groups. Adult invasive cardiology includes Coronary Angiograms, PTCAs, Intracoronary Stents, Rotablators and Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasties. Paediatric invasive cardiology includes all diagnostic catheterisation and therapeutic modalities viz., Pulmonary Valvuloplasty, Aortic Valvuloplasty and Septostomy.
Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab) is a highly specialised laboratory that deals with diagnostic & therapeutic procedures.Most commonly performed procedures in the Cath lab are coronary angiograms, coronary angioplasties, coronary stents and other latest device implantations. Also diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of rhythm disturbances of heart can be exclusively tackled in the Cath Lab. Noninvasive Cardiology - caters to both adult and paediatric age groups. The facilities offered in this group are Transthoracic 2-Dimensional Echocardiography (2D Echo), Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Stress test, Dobutamine Stress test.
The services offered in non invasive cardiology range from a simple ECG to sophisticated Computerised Stress testing. The lab also has dedicated Color Doppler, features include multiplane , transesophageal probe which facilitates evaluation of all types of cardiac cases. Facility for 24 hours monitoring of cardiac rhythm is available. Electrophysiology group includes all forms of Permanent Pacemakers including AICD's (Implantable cardiovert devices). Besides diagnostic electrophysiology study we plan to start full fledged therapeutic ablative procedures for various arrythmias
